I See (Writer) Pride

Sometimes being a writer is tough. We have to deal with constant rejection and, even when we are successful, we don’t really know what the future will bring. So today, I want to share one of my favorite movie inspiration moments:

Whenever you feel like quitting, remember Junior and Yul Brenner. Now let’s get out there and write!

  1. That’s a link to watch romance writer, Kristan HIggins’ speech at RWA this past June. I saw it in person and just sat down with my mom so she could watch it and I cried and laughed just as hard today as I did at the conference. It’s truly inspirational, genuine, and just freakin awesome. I’m new to reading your blog but since you posted about finding inspiration to keep writing…I thought you’d really appreciate this.

    Have a great day!

  2. This movie never gets old. It’s my favorite movie of all-time, and as I am just beginning my writing career, I will certainly look back to that moment as much as possible! Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it’s writing time!
