Wouldn’t these Hobbit Holes make pretty awesome writing sheds?
Unless, of course, a pack of dwarves were to show up at your door and demand you go on an adventure with them instead of finishing your book.

YES BUT when you got back you’d have acquired enough gold and treasure to build an even bigger hobbit hole and stay home and write all day without having to worry about pesky things like jobs. And Dwarfs. And burgling from dragons.
Might even be able to snag yourself a drink with Thranduil.
Totally going to build myself a hobbit hole writing retreat now.
I like this plan!
I’ve seen something similar to this before; I believe they were meant to be kids’ playhouses. They would be a good idea for a writing shed, though. However, I don’t think I’d mind the “distraction” of some dwarves dragging me off on an adventure. Think of all the potential stories that could come of that!
I would also be tempted to dress up like a witch and hobble around out front sweeping the steps.
Haha! I like that plan.
